Careers at Brower Psychological

Work with purpose: supporting the first responders who protect our communities — and their families — with the care they deserve.

How to Apply

First Responder Clinician & Training Specialist

Brower Psychological is growing across all of our Colorado locations — Greenwood Village, Broomfield, and Loveland — and we're seeking dedicated clinicians to join our team.

We're looking for professionals who believe emergency responders and their loved ones deserve exceptional mental health care from people who understand their unique challenges and culture. Experience working with children (ages 6–17) and families is a strong plus, and demonstrated excellence as a training facilitator is highly valued.

Our Mission

Emergency responders face extraordinary stressors that impact their wellbeing and family life. We provide specialized mental health services designed specifically for first responders and their families. Our clinicians don't just offer therapy — they become trusted allies who understand the interplay between trauma exposure, organizational stress, and the high-performance demands of emergency service work.

A Strong Plus — Not Required

Experience providing therapy to children (ages 6–17) and families affected by first-responder work is highly valued and helps us serve the whole family. If this isn't your specialty, we still want to hear from you — we need skilled clinicians across all of our programs and locations.

Our Ideal Teammate

We're seeking someone who views this work as a calling rather than a job — with a passion for supporting first responders and their families. You're empathetic and resilient, attuned to others' needs while maintaining healthy boundaries, and dedicated to clinical excellence. You thrive in collaborative environments, feel comfortable delivering trainings to groups, and are energized by making a difference for those who serve. Most importantly, you embrace growth, welcome constructive feedback, and adapt to a continuously evolving practice with flexibility and enthusiasm.

Work Environment

Based at your assigned Brower location (Greenwood Village, Broomfield/Interlocken, or Loveland). New clinicians complete an initial training period at Greenwood Village HQ before settling into their primary office location.

Travel & Hours

Travel required to deliver training and wellness services at agencies and to respond to critical incidents. Occasional evenings or weekends for emergency response.
